Biography

Xiayin Zhang is a Research Fellow I at the Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC), working with the Ocular Epidemiology Research Group at the Singapore Eye Research Institute (SERI). Her research leverages large-scale data mining and translational approaches to investigate the genetic and molecular basis of eye diseases, with a particular focus on integrating oculomics and multi-omics strategies for precision medicine. She has published over 80 papers in journals including Nature Medicine, JAMA Network Open and Progress in Retinal and Eye Research, and has secured competitive funding through grants such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China Young Scientist Award and the SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medicine Research Grant. She also serves as Managing Editor of Visual Neuroscience (SCI Journal).
